Music is Life

Martial Arts is a lifestlye.

Yeah. It’s more than just self-defense and looking cool. It’s not about the summersaults and the kicks and the flashy stuff. It’s everything that you do to be able to achieve greatness. It takes years to master martial arts, and as a fellow martial artist, I think that there’s no stopping once you’ve reached the “highest” point.

There might be a black belt in taekwondo, or red belt in judo, but it’s not your limitation. After getting my black belt in taekwondo, I decided to take up Jiu Jitsu; to be exact, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I was the youngest in my class, actually I still am. Even though you have to be at least 16 years old, I was able to get my purple belt. I have to wait another year or so until I’m able to get my brown belt. But the point is, I never stopped. I reached my “peak” and kept going from there.

I like being fit, I love fighting (in the octagon), and I love to train with my best friend. There’s more things to martial arts than what you all see, and I suggest you try it. Come to a martial arts class one day, and just stick around. You’ll see what I’m talking about.
